I stayed five months in 94th Street residence. Room was very comfortable (street view, two windows, bathroom, kitchen unit), building facilities were at a good level (internet, laundry). Staff was extremely nice and helpful. Area is perfect - safe, close to the Hudson River and Central Park, subway station (lines 1,2,3) is one block away. I do recommend this place for a short time stay.

The place was definitely spotless when I first moved in. I liked that its accessible to the 123 train, as well as multiple banks, gyms, and grocery stores. The second floor was not occupied by many so there weren't a lot of noise interruptions. Definitely a great place to stay if you're a student and exploring the city for the first time.

Stayed in the 94th street residence for 6 months; good location close to the subway. There were a few roaches in our unit. 2 washers and 2 dryers for the entire building -- uses an app/laundry card. Overall, not a bad experience, but could be improved.

I was looking for a place to live temporarily, as I was in the midst of busy season and tired of the commute, and I came across Student Housing Works. I applied for a place at 9pm on a Wednesday night and requested to move in on the weekend, and by Friday I received the invoice and was permitted to move in once I paid. This was exactly what I was hoping for, and the prices are solid! Brian Thorton, who I communicated with over email, is super helpful, efficient, and nice. 5 stars, for sure.
