Fabulous food. Would definitely eat here again. One of the nicest canal side walks directly behind the pub - a leisurely walk into Hebden Bridge centre. Wish we had discovered it the day before and would have spent more time there.

We sat outside with the dog and received first class and safe service. Timothy Taylor was as good as I've had. Steak and ale pie with plenty of tender meat and sauce, vegetables cooked but not over cooked. Scampi and chips my partner had also very good. Highly recommend.
We have stayed for two nights in our camper and have been incredibly impressed with the pub. Great service despite lockdown, nothing too much trouble. We visited three times and ate once. A great range of ales, ciders and lagers. A much reduced menu but the steak pie and pork belly where absolutely perfect. This is an outstanding establishment. Immaculate inside and out and very welcoming for us camper types. Recommended
Lovely staff, nice food, reasonable prices, beautiful scenic views. Highly recommend. My only issue and the reason for four stars i stead of five was that the potatoes were a little old and the egg a little overcooked. Having said this we've paid a lot more for meals in Yorkshire that were not half as nice as the food here.
Our favourite pub on the Rochdale Canal. The pub felt safe and we enjoyed a beautiful meal and ale. Dog friendly too... Well done and thankyou to the staff...
