A pub, in a great location, making the most of lock-down by offering takeaway meals, tea/coffee etc. The various menus available on different days of the week looked very appealing. Staff and publican pleasant and friendly.

This was the quaintest little pub in the Cotswold's. We spent one night in Miserden and I our hosts recommended this pub - I am so glad that they did! The staff were friendly - and the food was delicious! I had the lamb burger. I loved everything about this quaint little village and pub! The house are beautiful! Definitely stop by this village and pub if you want an authentic, local experience!
Thinking I’d support a local business I bought two takeaway burgers plus a drink for 22. When I spoke on the phone the description was as on their website (below). What I got was the bare minimum you could call a burger. Greasy meat and plastic cheese. I appreciate these are difficult times, but don’t take advantage of your customers.
This pub always delivers on all aspects. However, coronavirus obviously creates major challenges for a lovely country pub to retain its usual charm. I'm very pleased to report that the Carpenters Arms has absolutely nailed it! They should be used as an example to other country pubs as to just how well and safe pandemic precautions can be managed without at all spoiling the experience. Top job Carpenter's Arms! Thank you.
