Fairly typical green lung type grassed area on Greenham Road at the bottom of Pyle Hill. Has been used in the past by gypsies who simply remove the \dragons teeth\ that the council fitted around it to attempt to deter them. It is bounded on two sides by nice mature trees that provide shade in the summer.
Lovely area to walk the dog, sit down for a picnic with the family. There's also a great play area for the kids as well.
Relatively big open space with children's playground at the end. The playground is a reasonable size with a fair amount of equipment. Never had a problem here, always well kept
It's a nice open space,limited but good kids play area at the racecourse end. Used by families, dog walkers and fitness groups as well as some cricket and the odd petrol remote control cars. Mostly dog owners clean up but not always. Good narrow tarmac path good for kids learning to ride bikes or scooters.
