A wonderfully laid out museum containing a multitude of artifacts spanning millenia. Something to do for all generations and one can spend a good part of a day just exploring the nooks. Well recommended!

Fascinating and informative displays. Maritime history, through to whaling and John Rae, explorer. Much more besides. Excellent ethnographic exhibition, plus fossils and taxidermy. Well worth a look.
