We've been several times for coffee and went yesterday for festive afternoon tea. It was AMAZING. Fantastic food, they really did pull out all the stops. I think we brought home nearly as much as we ate. All homemade and absolutely delicious. The staff were lovely, really caring and nothing was too much trouble. Thank you so much

The best Dog friendly cafe we have even been in . Food was amazing cheese on toast with an amazing amount of cheese and the soup in a huge bowl was to die for and the cakes were awesome ...need I say more

Wonderful cafe and definitely worth a visit! Well priced, clean and with pretty, old world crockery which is charming. The savoury food we ordered (pie and peas, and the Rarebit special) was lovely, but the cakes stole the show. They were so good we ordered a couple of extra slices to go! Friendly and knowledgeable local staff were the icing on the cake. We will be back to Grassington one day, and definitely back to the Stripey Badger.

What a beautiful little place within walking distance of the Grassington Nature Reserve We were staying in the area and happened across this lovely cosy place as we did the walking loop. Didn't get a chance to spend time in the bookshop, though enjoyed lunch sitting in the cafe. The staff are friendly, helpful and thoughtful, even offering our little dog water. My partner found the cheese and local bacon rarebit to be exceptional (saying 'love has gone into this bacon'). As a vegetarian, I opted for a simple an tasty egg cress sandwich. Following this we both had delicious and wonderfully sized (i.e. large!) cakes. My cranberry flapjack was something else mmm. There is a local company's condiments available to buy, and what looked to be an interesting and quaint bookshop next door. I passed through to use the toilet and saw books for children and adults. There were thoughtful and efficient coronavirus procedures in place, which we appreciate. If we are ever in the area we will be sure to return.
