Can agree with some reviews owner not the friendliest person, but was very helpful and taught me a lot about lace knitting. When I tried the kit purchased there were numerous errors in the pattern, I called the shop as no reply to Email and to my surprise received a new amended pattern today and a complimentary skein of very nice wool. Well done excellent customer service. Thank you

nice wool but owner is very rude & has no customer service skills, will not be sneered at while looking at spending my money in her shop! therefore I take my custom to isle of sweets up the road, wool is cheaper & the owners are extremely friendly & can't help you enough
Small shop, big choices -- great selection of nice yarns, some embroidery supplies, buttons. Beautifully soft skeins and the prices seem quite reasonable to me. Discontinueds and bargain bins were great value as well, I picked up a number of things to take home to the US with me.
Actually one star is too many shop assistant was barely polite didn't even want to say good morning when my daughter & l went in very disappointed saved money to go to Knitter's Attic where you are always met with a smile & absolutely nothing is to much trouble
Great local yarn store with a huge range of yarns for all budgets. Really friendly and a monthly knitting group as well.
