Not a thing about our visit was good except our own company. The staff seemed like they didn't care and couldn't be bothered, the food made me and my partner ill for a few days. The staff spent more time talking to each other at the bar rather than checking on the very little tables that were in. I know we are going through uncertain times but this should be the time you should be trying to keep hold of any customers coming your way. We won't return again.

We went for a family Sunday lunch. We enjoyed the top side beef dinner. We also had. A Burger stack and chips, Gammon and chips lasagna and a pizza. Everything came at the same time, it was all well cooked and nice and hot. The pub is nice and clean and well layed out. Table sizes for all size of parties. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The portions are very generous and not over priced. The sharing platter was great value. 5 ****

Lovely staff apart from the girl that served us. We stood at the bar waiting tk be served and she said you need to stand here, which was about 30cms away. So another lady queued up and she tried to serve her first, so we said we were first and got a telling off. We are just having a break from running a very busy pub in rossendale, absolutely no excuse for her manners, or the customer that tried to push in.
Lovely pub just a short walk from beautiful views of heysham village and the beach. Nice food, but drinks and food a tad pricey
