New owners are very nice. Lots of Portuguese items for sale now, including sardines and fresh baked corn/sweet bread.
Very nice place to pick up little things you may need, or to get snacks and soda. Run by an incredible owner who is very sociable and a genuinely kind person, when debit cards fail or if you have a little off of what the bill comes to he'll give you a reassuring smile and let you write an IOU or even in some cases write it off and let you have the stuff for free, when my family was on hard times for a while this really had a huge impact. I saw a review that brought up the prices being high but this is only true for items that sit on shelves for a long time, so well yes you may spend extra if you're buying frozen French fries or boxed stuffing; you'll pay the same as you would elsewhere for everything else.
The store is clean and the lady we normally see there is wonderful. Plenty of parking available.
