I am so thrilled, pleased, over the moon with this job agency!!! From the start, Tara was A-MAZING. She treated me with respect and was very polite and friendly. She told me all the things her agency could do for me, then followed through and helped me get set up for work. Tara was in constant communication through calls and texts, keeping track, and being very encouraging. I have been given SO much help - I have no transport so Tara drove me to where I needed to be for appointments etc. Epic Assist paid for my uniforms and various other items I needed to start my job, but could not pay for myself. The other ladies in the office were just as lovely, I am highly impressed with every aspect of Epic Assist. As my job is casual, I will be keeping in contact with Tara and Epic Assist over the coming months and I am more than happy to do so. I I highly recommend this agency and if you get a chance to transfer here, do so! Thank you Tara :)

After reading some of the reviews let me explain what epic assist does. Epic are one of if not the best DES providers going. The staff no matter what site or office you are registered with the staff will help you. Epic are a DES provider (disability employment service) be patient and if you show the staff the respect they deserve then they will work in your favour to help you get into employment or help point you in the right direction regardless if it's training, studying a course or even a few hours doing volunteer work we all have to start some where. The senior staff at strathpine I have no issues with or any other epic office.
Nearly all the so called job 'leads' they put forward are all links from Seek, Indeed etc. One particular EC kept sending me links to jobs that were completely beyond my scope of employment and she didn't even bother reading the job descriptions to ensure it matched my skills and experience. This is rather slack considering they only 'specialise' in disability management and have a much reduced caseload compared to other mainstream JA providers. Occasionally they might cold call employers but essentially it's no different than picking up the phone and doing it yourself. Considering switching providers!
This organisation will help you. The staff really listen to your needs and wants. Nat Lange got me a job, just by giving me the confidence and helping me greatly to cold call organisations where I wanted to work. Nat believes a resume alone does not put forward who a person really is. I believe in this and now have a job. Thanks Nat.
Very helpful IF you have a disability that can be seen, but for someone like me (A stoke sufferer) they expect me to do most of the work finding a job !!
Absolutely useless. The BDM and to most extents my other previous EC thinks they do you a world of favor by sending you copy and paste links from Seek to positions which you have already applied to or don't match the selection criteria. The final straw was when the BDM failed to contact me as per the alotted timeframe for the phone appointments three times in a row, anywhere from 4 hours to over a day without so much as an apology or valid explanation in the form of a quick email or SMS. Totally inconsiderate and unprofessional! In a face to face appoinment this would be blatantly unacceptable and people would be out the door initiating transfers. Yet for phone appointments it doesn't seem to matter to her! Pick up your game or you might find yourself on the dole queue as well!!
Always helpful in learning and in trying to find me work. Staff are wonderful.
Absolutely useless they don't care
