Stratford Car Centre came highly recommended by family who have bought their cars from here for years. I can see why. Service was excellent, very friendly and they went above and beyond for me.

Purchased a car from here. Nice little car, reasonable price. Initially good customer service. Telephoned to let them know there was an item missing off the car which was there when we viewed the vehicle but not when we looked on arrival at home. We were passed over to someone we had never met and all but, called liars and told that the item had never been there. There is a minor problem with the car but I now do not trust them to return and get it sorted, Moral of the story is we should have taken photographs on viewing and checked the car over properly before we left the forecourt.
I have bought from this garage before and have previously been very pleased but ...... a car I bought a year ago has just failed it's MOT with a major hole in the subframe and with faulty emissions. I am well outside of the three months grace and do not expect any recompense from the garage but I suggest any buyer has their purchase independently checked in order to avoid a similar disappointment. I was told by the sales person that my car had been previously owned by a postman but it is quite evident that it was more likely a farmer and that previous MOT's had likely been \fudged\. A shame for such a well trusted garage.
