Amazing food! Amazing chef! We have discovered this hidden gem by accident and will be definitely coming back. The food is unique and tasty. If you are around, ask for the special local gin to have a taste.

The owner was very nice and friendly, and the food was excellent. I had never had kidneys before and figured this would be a good place to try them. I was expecting two kidneys presented artfully on a plate. Instead I received a bowel full of many kidneys. I felt bad because I thought there was no way I would be able to eat them all and the owner and chef would be insulted. I was expecting them to taste like across between liver and tripe. They did not. They were absolutely delicious and I ate ever one.

Our diner was excellent concerning the ambiance, the welcome from the owners and of course the taste of our dishes. A must in Strasbourg !

The menu here is extremely limited with only 3 appetizers and 3 main dishes, but the food is incredible, and at a fair price for the quality and location. If you’re looking for a full menu of traditional Alsace food (bone marrow , multiple kinds of sausages, etc.), this is not the place. If you would like delicious French food with an Alsace flair, this is for you.
