A Perfect Night I've been there with my girlfriend for a romantic Dinner. The Service was very friendly and spoke German and English as well as French. The Ambiente is very smooth and friendly. The prices are okay cause the ambience and the quality is very high level. Perfect restaurant for a special night. Kind regards from Germany

This place was cozy, and had extremely nice staff. The tiger steak was amazing, possibly the best steak I have ever eaten. I do not like rare meats, but the chef only cooks the tiger steak rare or blue, I never have had rare steak seared so perfectly and the tiger sauce was the perfect combination for the steak. The restaurant was a great first taste for me of this beautiful city. I would recommend L'Oignon to any one that visits Strasbourg. When my wife and I got our drink they first served us a stock broth that was a nice and tasty, I do not remember what exactly was in it, but I am a very picky eater so I was amazed that I enjoyed the broth. I am sure they will continue to do well. The space is limited and stated that if you do not have reservations, then it is by only available seating. We got lucky to have such an amazing dinner. Thank You to the staff and chef for letting sample your art.
Lovely restaurant. The food is very good and authentic and the service is very friendly.
3 times great. Food, service, and hospitality.
The best steak I’ve eaten.
Excellent food, really friendly staff: highly recommended! Do not hesitate to try their \Tiger\ seasoning on your meat, it's delicious!
Came here because of the review. Let me start with the positives. The signature tiger steak was very good and the waiter (chef?) was excellent in explaining the menu. But ... waiters refusing to write down orders never impress me. Especially when they don’t remember and clearly he didn’t. I received a salad instead of fries. My wife received a well cooked duck breast when she ordered medium raw. The breast was even sliced in half when served so the chef either didn’t know or didn’t care. No one ever cared stopping by asking if all was ok until we had to pay. I wouldn’t recommend this place based on quality for money. You can have similar quality food with a better view in Strasbourg. Oh, the wine was good.
