The most beautiful Hauptbahnhof I’ve seen in Germany in my First six month, it might change. But overall it’s 3rd last city of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, so considerably a good central station for the people up north. Has McDonald’s, one bakery and DB ticket shop. You can have tickets from the automatic vending machines as well. The second picture is the entrance view of HBF.

Stralsund Hauptbahnhof is the main station in Western Pomerania and the main station for railway lines running to Hamburg, Bergen auf Rügen and Berlin in the German Hanseatic city of Stralsund. It is owned and operated by Deutsche Bahn. Construction of the present-day station near the centre of the city started on 9 November 1903 and it was inaugurated on 28 March 1905.
Stralsund hbf have authentic gothic architectural. Its took 3 hours from Berlin. The station relatively small and provide facility like WC, shop, Mcdonals, locker and bookshop. If you not yet have sim card, don’t worry, in this station have Wifi to make you easy connect. You can book your train ticket here but they just speak lil english. The train schedule really on time, make sure you will be here before the train come. #ladydigermany

Der schönste Bahnhof den ich kenne und das sind einige, Leipzig kommt gleich danach! Und mein Arbeitsplatz halt!
Barrierefreiheit am Bahnhof? Weit gefehlt. Es gibt zwar Aufzüge zu den Bahnsteigen, jedoch sind diese so klein, bzw. kurz gebaut worden, dass man noch nicht mal mit einem normalen Fahrrad in diesen Platz hat. Da die Treppen bei dem Gewicht von Rad samt Gepäck keine Alternative sind, half nur das Senkrechtstellen des Rades etwas. Das bedarf allerdings schon etwas Erfahrung und Kraftanstrengung. Wer konstruiert und genehmigt denn so etwas?
