The waterfall is definitely worth the walk. Can be a little muddy on the way so take adequate shoes but the scenery is simply breath Taking.

Pretty waterfall at the end of a kinda hard, sloppy, muddy way. You WILL get dirty. Not recommended for kids. Tip: when starting the trail, there is a fork: left is very sloppy but shortest to waterfall(10min).Right is longest, but safest (30min).
I personally wanted too impressed with the hike. The trail is riddled with tree roots and mud. You'd think you'd get some views but no. Eventually you will get to a cute waterfall and a nice river but I am not sure it would worth the hike. I didn't do the Sulfur bath, so of it's your thing - knock yourself out!
Nice hike, but slipperdy. Love the waterfall!
Great walk from Sainte Rose. Very picturesque. The sulfur showers need a bit of upgrading. There is a trail in sofaia near the sulfur bath. It is slippery so proper shoes should be worn. One of them leads to a waterfall but not after crossing a couple of times a rocky river. Surrounded by a forest,We sat on the rocks in the shallow river and watched the fish gently swim by. A perfect place for meditation
We went to the waterfall and than took the longer way back and it was very nice walk! To reach the waterfall you have to cross the river. The waterfall is beautiful but its not a swimming spot like the other ones on Guadeloupe.
Sulphur springs and rum for an adventurous hike. Nice place.
Probably the best thing about this place is the views on the way to it. The special waters are not very hot and smell of sulphur (rotten eggs). It's also a bit weird to go into a sort of concrete cattle dip to enjoy the trickle of water percolating from an old pipe. There are various people selling snacks which is nice too. On the day we went it had been raining so the paths for the other walks to the waterfall were too wet really to do safely.
