We live locally and The Kings Arms is where we go to whenever we want to either celebrate or just go to with friends. The food is unfailingly excellent, the wine list is comprehensive and the service is always first-class. Grant is a talented and creative chef and Lucy handles front of house with charm and grace. The waiting staff are all first rate and friendly. If you are ever in the area make sure you go. You won't be disappointed.

Unexpected find at the last minute, was able to reserve a table for 2030 on a Friday night. Nice feel to this country pub, good menu with interesting vegetarian options... YES! Staff are friendly and accommodating, food was well presented and tasty. The guest ale was particularly good... wish I remembered what it was now!!! Haughley is just five minutes from Stowmarket but feels more rural, very much worthwhile making the trip out to The Kings Arms.

Charming, cosy but not stuffy - this pub is arguably the perfect atmosphere for anything from a casual couple of drinks to a romantic dinner. My fiancé and I had our first post-lockdown meal out here and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Service was attentive and friendly, the food is exceptional (a great mix of dishes, all cooked really well) and decent prices. Beer garden is nice too! We will definitely return!
