Great first visit to this pub. NB: 20% off offer on Mon-Wed through September 2020. Tuesday night was quiet and we were seated reasonably quickly to a clean table. The menus are varied and very well priced and based on our experience all the portions for starters, mains and desserts were larger than any we have had elsewhere. Service was very good, not interfering, just right with friendly and happy staff serving us throughout the evening. Our group had starters of prawn cocktail, fried chicken strips and mac and cheese balls with salsa. These came to us very well presented and in portion sizes bigger than any starters we have had before. They all had salad accompanying them. The chicken was a little overdone but we all happily finished them off. For mains we had a rump steak, pan roasted chicken with sauteed new potatoes, ham and eggs and sausages and mash. Again great portion sizes, very well presented. Our people thought the chicken and sausages mains were lovely. The steak was described as good butbdry, perhaps slow cooked? And the cool ham would have been better had the ham been fresher. The desserts were delicious. We had warm chocolate brownies which come with ice cream, and an awesome white chocolate cheesecake - thoroughly recommend that if you like cheesecake. One of the best I've ever tasted. Easy ample parking outside. Excellent range of cocktails. Good wine options at reasonable prices. 20% off offer on Mon-Wed through September 2020.

Visited during the COVID19 period so not sure whether this is how their food usually taste like. Nothing bad to say, 3 stars for average pub food. The safety and hygiene measure is good to ensure customers safety during the period but the place is nice. Enjoyed the nice, warm weather outside.
Excellent food! What more can I say! :) We had starters, probably a mistake as all the portions were huge! Followed by: ham, egg and chips, fish and chips and the Severn burger. Ham was lovely, thick cut and tasty. Fish was excellent, one of the best fish in a fish and chips apparently (I don’t eat fish so wouldn’t know), the Severn burger was huge and very tasty. Beef, chicken, chorizo, pulled pork and bacon! Wow. A mixed grill in a burger. The chips were also very tasty. Well done, Old Beams! And the best part ‘eat out to help out’ made it very cheap too!! :)
Popped down the road to my local The Old Beams today for lunch and sat outside in the sunshine. BBQ pulled pork with melted mozzarella ciabatta with chips was delicious. Music on in the garden, lovely atmosphere. Highly recommended.
A nice looking pub but woman with nose peircing shouted at us and made us feel very unwelcome not very covid secure but man with the yorkies is a national treasure stourport should be proud to have him
