Much faster if you book an appointment online. There's usually a long line of walk-ins. I went there for fingerprints a total of 3 times. Re-printed 2 of the times because of low quality issues. My fingers are just difficult to print with ink, but despite that the technicians Evelyn and Ashley were very helpful during this process. They had a positive attitude the whole time even tho it took so long to get the right prints. I recommend. But I really suggest if you have fingers that are hard to print with ink, definitely switch to livescan. It will save you so much time.

SECOND REVIEW (Tuesday, July 11th, 2017) I thought about deleting the comment below but then I realized that this is a prove that a business well-cared will grow. After posting my review I received a phone call from Tom (Owner of PrintScan) to apologize and refund me. He explained me his circumstances and the decisions he is taken with his team. Today I spoke with the Kelly, the Customer Service Manager and kindly took my information to refund me. In my opinion is about being human, build empathy and support to be better with each other. Thank you, PrintScan. _______ FIRST REVIEW (Saturday, July 8th, 2017) Poor quality on their product and poor customer service. PrintScan incompetence delayed my police certificate for 5 months. I needed a fingerprint card set for a police certificate that is only issue by the FBI and found PrintScan on Yelp. I visited the location in Manhattan (W 35th) for first time on January, bought 2 sets of fingerprint and mail them to the FBI. Two months later I received a letter from the FBI saying that the quality on the fingerprints was: \very poor and non legible\. I called PrintScan and they booked me for my second visit for free on March, two months later again I received the same letter from the FBI: \very poor and non legible\. Then I went to the Police Station downtown and they took the fingerprints with the highest level of technology. I called PrintScan for a refund but Kelly, the customer service representative told me that they could only offer \... as many sets of fingerprints I wanted and no refunds\. She tried talk to her manager Kirsten who asked me to email her the letters from the FBI and a prove that the fingerprints from the Police Station will work and only then she will refunded me partial amount of what I paid. Their old practices are inefficient, they do fingerprints with sponge and ink. The police do them digital. You can't compete with this material in NYC where technology is a must.
