My granddaughter gave birth here. This hospital is terrible. There are clueless and unprofessional residents and internists who do not know anything. The nurses are either nice or mean and callous. The doctor looked like they were experimenting on my daughter in law. I do not recommend these people. My daughter has the Stony Brook Midwives who just dropped her for these second rate doctors. The nurses would not talk to me as the grand mother for HIPAA reasons when my daughter gave permission. The attending are always missing. The new doctors are arrogrant. The nurses are amazing or garbage. We are never coming back. I'm tired of the kid residents who just poke and prod and do nothing. Beware of fraud and huckster doulas too.
