This place is amazing! Friendly staff, clean, great decor but most importantly the food was fresh, top class and delicious. Ordered cod bites and chips, light crispy golden batter and proper chips, crispy but fluffy inside... superb! And served with Janina's homemade tartar sauce. They have lots of choice on menu, burgers, pies, sausage. This was my first visit and I'm delighted to have found it! It is a great local fish and chip shop and I highly recommend it.
Good quality fish and chips, and they usually have some home-made extras on the menu. A friendly local chippy. Haven't been disappointed yet. Recommended.
Love this place! The food is always fresh and piping hot. Every time I have been the food is cooked freshly to order so takes a few minutes longer, but absolutely worth the little wait. Chips are cooked to perfection not soggy or overdone like from some places. Also love the battered garlic mozzarella... So good that I got it twice in a row this week! It's a favourite for my family and friends in the area. Staff are very friendly too and provide a nice service, premises is lovely and clean. Would highly recommend Stone's.
Really delicious fish and especially chips. Owners really friendly and know about their food knowledge quite well. I recommend this fish and chip to everyone and whoever lives locally.
