Me & my wife were buyers of a property that Andrew/Keates were marketing. From day one, I had complete confidence in Andrew. His ability, professional attitude, his market knowledge, advice, his communications back to us made our buying journey that much easier. The sellers of our house made a sound investment when they instructed Keates to perform the sale. I'm almost embarrassed to admit it, but Keates have have outperformed our own Estate agents. If you are contemplating which Estate Agent to choose and want a sound, professional and communicative agent to work with, then look no further.

Some parts of the property when we had viewed were not up to standard, such as mould, skirting board issues and a smell. I was told this was going to be fixed but was not on commencement of our letting. They are un-reliable and out right lie about what they are going to do. The bathroom was covered in mould, which we were told would be fixed. Eventually after a year of back and fourth emails we managed to get them to fix it, instead of actually fixing it they boarded over it, I am not sure yet what damage to my health has been done. They did kick up a fuss over our deposit and claimed against us for the issues I mentioned were present upon us moving in. We did win the case, so that and the photos shown should let you know who was right. I have since been in contact with the owner regarding the issues we faced since writing the review, they have agreed they will try their best to not let something like this happen again. Though my review still stands, and I stand by it, I can only hope they do stick to their word so this does not happen to someone else.
I have bought, rented as a landlord and sold a property and all aspects have been very efficient and generally well communicated. I won’t pick out individuals but the general promptness in responding to communication has been super. Thank you staff at Keates.
We have been very impressed with the care and support that Keates has provided us, with the purchase of our first auction home. Nothing was to much to ask the team based in the office and Andrew often went above and beyond to keep communication for all clear, settling any worries thay we had. Thank you!
