Old peoples home for over 55's that has a gym, library, restaurant, bar, hairdresser, beautician and a convenience shop. All this is also open to locals but covid has restricted some. Shop closes at 4pm which is not very convenient at all really. All staff as really helpful and residents look like they are cared for well. Everything seems immaculatly cleaned

This place is really run down do not visit here. Staff work tirelessly yet they don’t get appreciated enough. The residents are not happy with the building as it is falling apart. The plastering is falling yet nothing is done. The building leaks yet nothing gets done for that either. Stoke Gifford Retirement Village will not be going for much longer before it is shut down.
Nice for some people. Views from flats are generally not very good. Good community facilities, but the word 'village' is really a misnomer; these are tightly packed flats around a central car park with little to no green space.
Stoke Gifford Village is an independent and active community for over 55s which opened November 2018. The Village has 261 one and two bedroom homes all with their own patio or spacious balcony. There is a wealth of communal facilities on-site including a bar, bistro, shop, hairdressers, beauty salon, games room, crafts room, greenhouse, hobby room, library and I.T. suite. Whether your home is becoming too difficult to maintain, you are becoming isolated or you want to move family to be closer to you, Stoke Gifford Village could be exactly what you are looking for.
Parents live here . Lovely apartments. Shame they have to live on a building site . Loud noise all day .
