Reliable and crunchy chicken strips, and red salt (aka chip spice/peri peri salt). This place is spotless, I have ordered a few times but today was the first I went in, and I was so impressed with how clean it was, and how good the oil looked. Typical unhealthy but delicious takeaway chips, crunchy chicken can be hard to come by in the area, but urban chicken has it covered. The people seem so lovely every time I have spoken to them, and they were just as nice in person. There is actually space to sit down and eat in as well!
As a regular customer at urban chicken I am normally very happy with the food. I have never complained before tonight. I found two hairs in my food that I certainly know wasnt mine. I rang the shop very politely as the staff are normally lovely, the man down the phone said there is no chance and for some reason thought that it was funny. I have ordered from here regularly and have never complained before so I think this was very unfair. Unfortunately they have lost my custom to the gentleman who think it's ok to accuse a customer of lieing pretty much and to think its funny.
I had the gourmet burger and it was absolutely delicious. Great quality meat, perfectly cooked and the tastiest, softest bun. Six out of five stars!
Its a nice place in Poynton. Whenever i pass this place , try to take a bite from this takeaway food. One of the best delicious burgers i ever had. Clean aswel.
