I stayed at Frankies Wine Bar and Lodge and was very disappointed. It was very loud, no windows, many broken pieces of furniture/equipment in the room. The bar was lovely and had friendly staff.

Nice bar, loads of little seating areas, great ambiance. The only thing I didn't like was that the staff weren't as friendly as I'd hoped, I had 3 cocktails, waited ages to get them to be made and they weren't presented very well. If all your staff don't know how to make them, don't serve them.

Celebrated my 30th birthday in Frankies by booking a couple of tables although it is possible to book the function room. Food is served during the day and into the evening. The cocktail menu is great and a good selection of beers, wines and spirits. Everyone was really complimentary about the venue, lovely place to have a drink and chat as the music wasn't too loud. The website is good and they have live music on sometimes.
