Personally, I like simple Protestant churches more than the overdecorated Catholic ones. Here you can really feel and enjoy the architecture of the building. Really nice place with amazing altar and St. George statue.

Great statue of St. George. Also very old stone pieces on the floor dating back to 1600.

The Cathedral is located on Main Square, right next to the Royal Palace. The building dates from the 1300s and is still being used for many ceremonies such as coronations and weddings. The Cathedral is quite sober because it is Protestant, but has some interesting pieces. The most spectacular ones are the statue of St. George killing a dragon and the Silver Altar. Many concerts are held here, but it's best to get information while being there, as the staff can provide you better information than that what is on the website.

This church is stunning. The scale of the art is amazing, as is the number of pieces. The in-floor tomb monuments are everywhere and I admit I still feel weird walking on them, even though I know they are the floor. Don't forget to look up! The organ and the ceilings are stunning as well. We could have spent more time here than we had time for on this visit.

Wonderful old church in a vibrant area of the city! The kids will love the dragon inside. It's nearby the palace and not far from the hairy pig restaurant (amazing!). There is an admission fee but it was small. Pictures are allowed.

This is a beautiful and very historic old Cathedral located in the old area of Stockholm called gambler stand. The interior of the cathedral is nice, but it’s most known for the statue of Saint George slaying the dragon. It is worth a visit if you visit Stockholm.

A quite magnificent construction, impressive in height and architecture, but most notably the place is enriched by the diverse art, sculptures, and other treasures and decorations spanning centuries. There's obviously a rich history here that you can discover on your own by finding the many well-written signs (in Swedish and English) for the most prominent features, or by joining a free tour.

Definitely must see. Beautiful structure, beautiful history.
