One of the best places to get classical board games.

Do not order online !! I received a backgammon in bad condition! Black spots on the outside of the the box, a broken stone and damaged on the inside too.

Do not come in contact with the owner of the store, unless you absolutely must. Shop online. He is extremely unpleasant person unsuitable for interacting with customers. Today we strolled down the street and saw beautiful board games of all kinds in the shop window. We entered through the first door and descended the stairs and continued to window shop games in the part inside the building but still outside of the store. Then we came to the glass door of the store and tried to open it, but it seemed they are locked. Before we realized that the store was actually closed, we saw the owner coming and unlocking the door for us. He said grumpily that the store opens at noon, but he turned and went away, letting us come inside. By the way, it was 5 minutes before noon. He acted as if we were knocking on the door and wanting to come inside, and as if he was doing us a huge favor for letting us in. Extremely uncomfortable, but we went inside and started looking at shelves with board games. We didn't touch anything yet, and after literally 20 seconds, the owner asked us, again in a rude way, what exactly we are looking for. Before we had time to formulate the answer, he started again hurrying us and was very impatient. We lost every desire to stay in the shop for any second more, because we felt extremely unwelcomed and uncomfortable. We left that very second. Too bad, because there seems to be some good stuff in the shop, but due to the disgusting feeling the owner creates inside, it is impossible for a person to come and buy something, let alone browse, ask questions etc., which should be a normal thing to do in a commercial place. Horrible!

I needed a dgt bag for my chess stuff; was cheaper buying from Gammon games and quicker postal service than from the chess shops in my town of London! Great service and quick despatch.... thank you.

I went today to the shop in Stockholm and the seller there was realy un polite and knows nothing about selling profission, because first he said do not tell me show me this and show me that, and in the end when i told him i will decide later he said if you did not want to buy why you did not say from the begaining !!!!!! HELLOooo, if you have a shop to sell stuffs so we have the right to check your stuffs. ADDED AFTER THE ANSWER FROM THE SELLER: First of all i did not find your shop on the net i found it throw a street advertise next to your shop, and there was a flag which says \Öppet\ out side. Second you could just say we are close today , it is not so hard to say. Third do not lie and say you told me that i can come later in the open days, you said nothing. I thought maybe i am over reacted but after i read another reviews i knew im not the only one who had a bad experience with your shop. Those reviews are found to help businesses owners develope their businesses not trying to hide their faults by lies.

BEWARE! Although initially met by an indefinable yet slightly unsettling feeling, I decided to enter this little place, which was otherwise inviting and had a generous selection of intriguing items in the shop windows; enough so to lead just about anybody into temptation. KEEP AWAY! Having made the fatal mistake of trying the door five minutes before opening hours, my—perhaps somewhat ungrateful—curiosity was instantly murdered by the small-minded bigot of an owner in an impressive display of contempt and unwillingness to let me in. ESCAPE! A moment later, I inexplicably found myself inside the little shop anyway. I was—perhaps somewhat ungratefully—struck with awe in wonder of its many beautiful objects and began exploring it, just when the misanthropic pestilence inevitably succeeded in terrorising me with his arrogance and hawkish interrogation into leaving this unpleasant place forever. TO THE OWNER: If you are going through a depression or perhaps suffered a severe trauma in your childhood, please consider seeing a therapist. If, on the other hand, you simply don’t want customers, then just don’t let anybody in the shop. TO EVERYONE ELSE: Hedge your bets and avoid the sunny side of this street altogether, so as not to inhale the infectious fumes of social putrefaction oozing out from this little den of hatred.

The salerman was unpleasant. We wanted to see a gameboard in shop window before to buy it and he refused to show the game. It is the first time I saw that in my life.
