Amazing place, as you pass the door you find yourself in the Middle Ages! The viking atmosphere, the delicious food and the waiters dressed up as real vikings make everything magical. I loved it and I'll keep this special memories forever, you should definitely come here!

A place to try viking food. Good food, great service. But above all, the experience like no other places that of you have a chance to be in Stockholm, you should pay a visit. Your group will be introduced loudly to other guests when walk in. Very crowded, should book in advance.

I tried two different beers and both were served on an old fashioned clay jug. I may say that it's a must be for visitors in Sweden. I didn't had the chance to try the food, but the experience is unbelievable. Ambient is definitely how you can imagine a viking pub. Once you get in there you will be introduced to the rest of the diners by your name, and you will be received by claps, really fun.

We booked a table online only to get a phone call from the restaurant that it was the old booking service and he couldn't offer us the time we had booked for. He was able to give us a reservation for 2 hours later though, so we were glad we still got a reservation, although it was still a little frustrating. The ambiance is great and we loved the live music. Sadly there is only one vegetarian starter, a salad with goat cheese, and main course, a mushroom rissoto. It was very underwhelming and plain. Vegetables or cheese or something could have been served as a side. What we didn't like: it took 20 minutes after being seated for someone to come to take our drink order. We watched 2 other servers set up tables in the meantime and another (what would be our server) serve a different table next to us at least 3 times. He wasn't very cheerful and the jokes he made came across as inauthentic and forced seeming like he does them for every table, every day. The food arrived within 10 minutes of ordering which on the one hand is good but on the other hand you felt rushed to hurry up, eat and leave quickly to make room for new people. They then tell you to go to their sister bar down the street for drinks, instead of getting to stay there after you have eaten to enjoy drinks there, again making you feel rushed and unwanted. All of this sort of ruined the whole mood of the dinner along with our high hopes for the restaurant.

We had a very good time in this restaurant. The server was very friendly. Decoration is so realistic, only good vibes!

Nice viking atmosphere in the hearth of the old city. We shared a bottle of local dry mead and 4 beers, 3 meat dishes and one fish. The deer was really tasty, unfortunately the perch was not that good. The staff was really kind and respectful of the new restrictions against covid-19. Slightly overpriced (ca. 500 kr/person) but in line with other restaurants in Gamla Stan. Worth to try once if you are in Stockholm.

This place was everything I wished for a night: Viking vibes and alternative food to what you normally have! We are here a plate with moose sausage, reindeer sausage and heart, and it was very delicious! I found so cool to have something so curious! The environment is also cool, we had a live band playing medieval/Viking music and it just gave the place another vibe. And service was very friendly!

Really cool place with lots of great medieval decorations. The food was good also and the waiters are fun and welcoming. I recommand this place!
