Great Experience. The guided tour covers the background, the prelude to battle, the battle itself and the aftermath. Much of the credit needs to go to the enthusiastic guides who give the talks. From my personal point of view, I'm already familiar with much of the information, but the standout part of the experience was the video re-enactment of the battle. It's one thing to read about the battle, but something else to see all the manoeuvring and the status as the battle plays out.

Sadly due to covid, this is no longer interactive. Guides were very pleasant and knowledgeable but i didnt learn the way i thought i would. It would need a better dramatisation of the story. Descriptions were too fast and too vague. More storytelling required. I am a hard to please customer, i work in travel normally and have watched lots of guides tell a story.... i bought the book. To add to my disappointment The main room was so cold i had to put my hood up and wrap my scarf round me. I wouldnt bring any friends.

Couldn’t go into the visitor centre cos of the pandemic but nice monument and statue. Shame there isn’t more access to the actual battlefield as this isn’t where it actually happened. Nice place to visit all the same.
