Our first visit in the pub and what a great surprise. Table service was great with good Sunday roast and chocolate dessert. We were surprised how busy it was but staff did not leave us to wait to long. Thank you very much.

I used to take residents whom I cared for here, some with complex needs such as dysphasia (which means different textured diets- for example- pureed) the staff were very understanding and chefs were more than happy to puree anything off the menu to their specific needs. Staff always took great care of us and other customers. Everyone was always very patient and attentive. Several years later, I actually work for this company (im the morning cleaner) and I have to say, everyone is lovely. There is always a great atmosphere, the staff are an amazing team. Food here is delicious and very reasonably priced.
One of my favourite pubs to go go, even if it is a little out of my way. The staff are always very friendly, the atmosphere inside is great and the food is some of if not the best I've ever had in a pub/restaurant (I highly recommend the lamb shank!).
Good meal and pleasant atmosphere. Shame we are locked down again. Would highly recommend once reopened.
