I had a very bad customer experience in the shop today. It was partly the mainly good reviews that made me visit and I was hopeful I had found what would be my new local halal butcher but unfortunately I will not be back. I stood at the meat counter whilst the butcher was cutting meat for about 3 minutes waiting for him to at least acknowledge me as I was in his view. In the end I had to ask if he could help me to which he responded by raising his eyebrows at me as if to say 'whats up' I then asked him about various cuts and the prices, his answers were quite curt which I ignored and kept it pleasant. I asked if he had other cuts he said yes then after finding out prices I made my choice which he had to get from the fridge. Instead of getting the meat he then carried on with the task he was doing beforehand. I stood there for about a minute then I asked him if hes going to get what i asked for, he responded by pointing the knife at the meat he was cutting and said ,'when I finish what I'm doing'. It was also the look he had like he was fixing for a fight. I told him to forget it and left the premises. Even though the prices were on average 2 a kilo more than I usually pay I'll rather go back to my old butchers despite the 40 odd mile round trip. I've given 1 star as iI have to give something to be able to post, if I could I would give 0 stars
