I researched sparring gear online & saw this place was relatively close (an hour drive). I wanted to avoid the hassle usually associated with ordering online then needing to exchange items based on improper fit, so I called ahead to confirm that walk-in purchases were welcomed. The gentleman who answered the call confirmed that I could buy a single set of sparring gear as a walk-in customer. However, today in-person, after driving an hour, I was told that walk-in purchases weren’t allowed unless I was a wholesale customer. I’m most concerned about the fit of the gloves, so I asked if I could verify the fit. Although the gloves were literally steps away, the young man I spoke with denied my request to do so. I like the idea of supporting local businesses, but after the poor customer service experienced today I think I’ll buy elsewhere.
