In town 2 nights for business. My choice for dinner both nights was at the Steam Restaurant. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. Very Very good. They truly have a staff that know what they are doing in the kitchen. Service was friendly and attentive. My selections for dinner was the Carolina Cobb Salad (Amazing) and Crab and Corn Chowder the 1st night. I had the Crab Cake the second night. Both meals as stated previously well prepared and full of flavor. Excellent choice if you prefer not to venture out downtown for dinner. Amazing view of the Cape Fear River at sunset as well

Good food and good service. I had the Steamy snoods with Shrimp and my mom had the Steak Frites, temperature was perfect. The peach pie? Incredible. Service was timed just right and friendly. Even as a local the view was beautiful.
Food and atmosphere are great. Looks of a Modern upscale establishment. I would give it a 5 star. However, when we order our entrees the waiter asked if we wanted soup or salad without stating that each was priced independently. I thought they were complimentary sides of the main entree. The place is great other than that.
Seafood, mmm, so good. Two thumbs up for this place. The service was very friendly and kind. Atmosphere is similar to a place in Columbus I loved.
Nice inside view of the Cape Fear River with a taste of High End Food and Drinks. Food was good but but be prepared to spend some cash. Would return. The staff were extra nice and pleasantly helpful. Don't get lost trying to find the elevator up.. There are 4 different sets of elevators. It's on the second floor from the lobby.
