the environment is nice and the staff friendly and helpful. the bar area is cozy and probably a nice place to settle in and taste the varieties of Scotch - they definitely have a wide variety! for us, we we're a bit disappointed in the main vegetarian selections - a risotto burger and a cheese onion pie; they were filling enough, tasted okay, and did what we needed - fill-up after a good day of biking, but we found the pricing a bit high. the beet carpacio was excellent and we would have done better just ordering 2 of those; the pricing on it was much more reasonable. the waiter did forget to bring a matching Scotch for the beet appetizer, but it was definitely busy and he had to juggle several guests at once, so I just let it go.
Very friendly, very tasty, meals and drinks fit together, and not to mention the Whisky....
Excellent restaurant. Great chef, staff and nice location.
