This is my second experience. Over 10 years ago they fitted vinyl in my kitchen/diner (which lasted a very long time) and I remember I had such a good experience with them. This time I ordered Vinyl for the entire flat, they had to lift the old laminate flooring which they did very quickly and I'm very pleased with the new vinyl they have put in throughout. The fitters were very efficient and cleared as they went. I felt my property was respected and they were considerate. Highly recommend Station Carpets, I got a very friendly, local service at an affordable price.

I chose carpets for my house to be done, including new underlay in my lounge. When the fitters arrived to do two of the bedrooms and lounge, i left them to get on with it. When they were doing the lounge, i overheard one of them whisper to the other,” do you have enough underlay now” I didn’t think a great deal about that at the time, but when he told me they had finished and asked for payment, i asked him if he had enough underlay, to which he replied, “just” I had my suspicions, so i checked my CCTV after they had gone and as i thought, he was carrying some of my old Cloud 9 underlay back in, which was not only 12 years old but 2mil thicker. So i pulled up some of the carpet from the corner where there was obviously a variation and sure enough they had laid approx 2sq metres of the old underlay. I called the shop in Burgess Hill, told the manager who in turn virtually called me a liar, he was so rude beyond belief. He was laughing and said what difference does it make!!! I asked for the owner to call me, but he never did. I eventually i got a call back from the so called manager to say he would get it right. It would had taken the fitter 10 minutes to drive to their warehouse and get enough to finish the job. If you are thinking of getting new carpets, I WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND GIVING THIS LOT A WIDE BERTH
