This museum was fun. The first two floors were a lot of history of the museum itself which was pretty interesting. The next two floors were the best with exhibits of wild animals (casts) in their habitats.

Small museum but we loved the life-size animal displays, and feel it alone justifies the price of admission. The science could be better explained and more approachable. And sadly some of the information isn't available in English.

It is unfair to compare this national history museum to London’s or New York’s (my frames of reference). One thing I can say is, the dioramas here are up there with the very best. They offer an insight into Bratislavan nature and give a taste of world nature too. Excellent information in a compact, modern exhibition. Well worth your time if you are a nature lover.

This place is great! Most of the exhibits have explanation in English as well as Slovak. The woolly mammoth is the top! Never thought I would see such a thing...I also need to mention a bison and a giraffe... Proper cool...

Really interesting museum for all nature lovers. Some taxidermy pieces were really done well, and I love the backgrounds which were made like their real habitat. Whole exhibition is a chronological story from the begining of the life on planet Earth to life we know today. I have so much photos which I could share, but it is best for you to go there and experience it yourself. :)

Very nicely laid out, 4 floors of artifacts. Lots of animals and rocks to look at. Information is in Slovak and English. Staff very friendly and helpful.
