Comfy cosy pub - a real gem in Guildford and a great escape from more modern alternatives. Not tried the food yet, but will save that for the next visit!
Good pub, good service in this difficult time.
I first visited the Star Inn about 20 years ago and was so impressed i vowed to return. I got my opportunity just before Christmas last year. In that time it has lost none of its charm. Comfortable seating and a real historic feel to the place. The staff were friendly and obliging. The prices were about average for the area, plus there's a good selection. I will deffo be going back, and this time i won't leave it do long.
Highly recommended, great pub and music venue.
