Such a pleasure in these COVID times to eat out, and enjoy the lovely Sunday Roast at the Star. Staff so welcoming even though there were the obligatory masks and hand washing, it didn’t get in the way of menus service etc. Really enjoyed my whitebate, son Nick had prawn cocktail, and Stu had main of delicious roast pork (plenty of crackling!), the roast lamb and beef equally tasty with all the trimmings. Lovely fresh vegetables and gravy (everything with GF option as well as good vegetarian choice. The puddings were gorgeous, good selection and important to me lashings of custard on the sponges options! Thank you Star, really enjoyed it.

Nice pub with friendly staff. l have a thing about public toilets but have to say, the toilets at The Star are very clean and well kept.
