Fantastic restaurant. Exquisite food, presentation and service. Local ingredients mixed to tantilize your palette. Home made bread with flour from their own mill. Amazing and wonderful experience.

Why the two Michelin stars? Only for the wait staff maybe. Kitchen was not impressive. Get away from all your fancy stuff and cook straightforward quality food. Wine pairing was just not spectacular. We dont need paintings on our plate. Therefore we go to a museum. Just cook tasty food. Look at how Italians do this.

i had an amazing evening here, a day before we wanted to eat here we called and asked them if they had vegan options and they said that they would make it possible. honestly they couldn't have made the experience any better!
Incredible dining experience. In a nice old farmhouse you'll find de Groene Lantaarn, one of the best restaurants in the north of the Netherlands. 2 well earned Michelin stars, great ambiance and excellent food served by a young but very professional enthusiastic staff. If you want a superb dinner, don't miss it. Bring your wallet though
