A great visit this afternoon searching out ideas for Christmas. Inside all was very well presented with everything from seeds to doormats. Outside a great selection of seasonal plants and a wide range of drag Christmas trees cut and potted. Back inside and a good selection of gift foods, cards and wrapping. On into the Christmas area and a really well laid out range of decorations from the standard to the quirky. Good lights too. Outside we ventured into the farm shop. A large barn housed a selection of vegetables, eggs, meats and cheeses as well as lots of preserves and bread mixes. Not too busy and pleasant staff, an interesting place to visit for garden and Christmas ideas.

First impressions were friendly staff and a glowing atmosphere. Plenty of space to sit so we could be distanced from others. Lots of menu choice, quality local ingredients used. I'd recommend the salmon and crayfish salad or the rarebit!
Fabulous house and garden centre. Lovely walks around the grounds. Garden centre is beaming with plants and other items.
The staff are friendly, the cakes are delicious. Great place to take your dog. Only downside is the play park for children is no longer accessible. We recommend Stansted Park.
Beautiful gardens. Plenty of free parking History for everyone to enjoy.
