Warm hot chocolate that tasted like milk, cold feta and spinach pastry but cheesy chips saved the day. Expensive!

So glad to find the tea rooms open and they have adapted magnificently to the challenges of social distancing with a three window order/pay/collect and super friendly staff faced with a queue of (at times) demanding customers. Great service and lovely food as always
This is still a lovely place to eat but you can now only eat outdoors. So a bit difficult if it raining. They do good tea and coffee in a cardboard takeaway cup. Their food is served in takeaway cartons to. All of their food cartons are cardboard and they give you wooden knives, forks and spoons. Condiments are also available. My wife and I had jacket potato with tuna and a side salad of tomato, basil and red onion. It was all very tasty and the side salad had a very nice dressing. They still have a good selection of food, serving sandwiches, quiches, slices, various side salads and other hot food. They also have a good selection of cakes including homemade carrot cake and shortbread with cherries.
