Absolutely brilliant takeaway meal tonight x I would highly recommend Stanley's in Goole, best meal had in ages, cant wait for Stanley's to open for visitors but in the meantime I will continue to order from here and enjoy at home. Great little bar which was an old Bank (the vault is still there ) had a coffee and pudding which was very nice, staff were very pleasant and attentive, the menu had a selection of tasty meals which will be tasted next time I go.
I give Stanley's 5 star for the food. They go the extra step to provide delicious meals. Once you get your head around the way it all works (each plate needs side dishes) it is great. I have a complaint. The temperature was cold. We asked for the heat to be put on, but it didn't happen. We were moved from the doorway, further into the restaurant but it didn't really help. Also the food got cool really quickly. I wasn't uncomfortable and wanted to leave quickly. If that is all...... Then good for them. This has the makings of a potentially GREAT restaurant.
From start to finish Stanley’s was friendly, modern , chic and professional - the lady on the phone was super friendly and efficient taking my order , the delivery man was dapper,smiley and honourable- the sign written van looks very sleek and modern - then the food - WOW, packaging was on trend and recyclable it looked stunning when arriving . We had a small plate chicken for my daughter who ate every single bite and the chicken was top quality.. Tex mex beef burger was full of flavour and cooked to perfection and my tandoori chicken burger was marinated perfectly with succulent fresh what felt like free range organic chicken - great portion sizes and loved the fresh salsa guacamole with the nachos ! Highly recommended will definitely be returning and talking highly of this well executed restaurant who has adapted fantastically to the modern healthier lockdown market !! ️️️️️
Nice bar with a good atmosphere. Used to be a bank so the building has a nice decor and a comfortable feel to it.On the day we visited they had a saxophonist playing which made a lovely and chill out atmosphere ,but on the downside having eaten there the food is nice but the portions are very small more like starters and the prices need to be reassessed as they are overpriced for the location its Goole not Gordon Ramsay's
