This is a pub that anyone who enjoys excellent British traditional ales should frequent as often as possible. The landlord takes a personal pride in the beers and the food. Coming from Yorkshire where good ale pub abound this is an absolute gem. !!

Great choice of beers. One that I had called The Turk is one of the nicest beers I have had. The pizzas were amazing too.
The Stanford Arms is an absolute gem. Lovely selection of beers ales ciders stouts etc etc that you won't have drunk before. Super relaxing atmosphere. I love the little outdoor area at the back with the succulents and finches. David is a fantastic publican and his calimare and croquettes are better than you get in Spain! Can't wit to try the Thai food night too.
Great selection of well kept cask ales. Everything you could ask for in a pub. Book ahead at the moment for food. Knowledgeable and welcoming landlord.
Best real ale pub in Lowestoft, great service, fantastic themed food and music nights. Worth a visit.
