Stamford Striders Running Club

My second Stamford Striders 30k and what an event! Super organisation, fantastic support and a brilliant marathon training route! Despite the hills, I loved nearly every second!! Thanks to everyone involved :)

An absolutely fabulous event. With the pressures of the weather and the week in limbo, the whole club pulled off a great event that made me feel really proud to be a part of. This is an event organised by runners for runners, it's a gem of an event, with a few hills thrown in for extra fun. Iain Hickman (can't log out of wife's account on google)

Ran the St Valentine's 30k this weekend, as postponed from last weekend due to Storm Dennis. I cannot fault anything about these guys, their communication, support, and encouragement before the race, and the on course support, was nothing short of amazing - topped off with a gorgeous medal and running shirt. I will definitely be back again!

Ran in the Valentines 30k on the 23rd of February and dont have a single bad word to say about it. After the 2 storms and horrible conditions, the updates on whether the race was going ahead were regular and clear considering the enormous pressure these guys must have been feeling. On the day, the marshals and supporters were the best I've yet seen and special mention to the lad on the bike who was a superstar. A very tough course in tough conditions but one I heartily recommend. We look forward to seeing you guys in the autumn again at fen10
