Lovely place to go to just get away from busy life and just explore the piece and quiet. Lovely views too, but the car park at peak times can get quite busy though, so better earlier or later.

Great walks around Little Armscliffe and Forestry commission land. A stone's throw from Harrogate but with a little imagination Scottish Border Country comes to mind.
Great place for a peaceful walk in the forest with stunning open space views around. Main walk is on a track. Can be mushy, so bring your boots. Parking is free here
