If you want thorough C-19 rules applied, they're on show here. Meet & greet at the door, clear signage and table service with attention to detail throughout. OK, a smaller menu, but 2 for 1 still available and all the usual favourites. Always open, when other places are not, can always rely on them.

Excellent meal...clean and tidy...excellent covid procedure ...nice big car park.
Been stopping at this place for years, love it but not today. What can best be described as a covid freak show. Big signs EVERYWHERE,, big red arrows EVERYWHERE. Physically prevented from entering the place until I filled in track and trace, which by the way is against guidelines. The whole eating drinking experience took second place to staff jumping out of the way and at one point running to avoid any proximity. This all led by their Manager who has clearly misinterpreted the guidelines, not to mention the parts your not doing, masks and gloves may be an idea. I think you have all lost your marbles and need to get out and see how other businesses manage covid, safely and slick. I'm really wondering if you have just been told about covid... but your not that remote?? Won't be coming back, at least until the pandemic is over.
Went there yesterday with friends. The place is managed really well in terms of social-distancing and it felt clean. The food, although tasty and of reasonable proportions, is a bit pricey, but the 2-for-1 meal deal on all mains is worth it. Would return for a drink and the meal deal.
Been there while working as i'm a Marston's brewery driver, and the Stag & Hounds is one of our pubs. Finished the job and my colleague ordered 2 Cowboy burgers that were lovely. Fantastic chips and sauce similar to the McDonald's \Big Mac\ or \Big Tasty\ sauce. Very nice indeed.
