Had a take away on Saturday night and it was lovely. We had crispy beef salad and ham croquettes to start followed by rump steak (cooked to perfection) with port & stilton sauce along with fish & chips. Food was really tasty and portion sizes were good. Ordered online & ready in 20 minutes, fabulous. Will certainly be repeating in this current climate! Would have been nice to have dessert options to complete the experience but this isn't currently offered. Highly recommend!

Lovely restaurant with delicious food. Three of us went for dinner on bank holiday Monday and all had different dishes and they were all superb. Very well presented and tasty. Staff were very helpful. They also do reasonably priced cocktails. Definitely be back.
My husband and I loved our food! We had three courses and each of them were amazing quality. The service was really quick, super friendly and made the night even more enjoyable. We will definitely be returning. Thank you to Polly our waitress who was very attentive and friendly.
This was an amazing find from our canal boat. We thought we would look for a pub in the village and get warm and dry. Went on Saturday Lunchtime and was told that they were busy and had a lot of bookings coming in later. They found us a table in the bar area and the service from start to finish was first class. The greeting by the Manager and the smiling staff makes you feel so welcome. This business matches the top quality establishments and this was the best steak I have had in years. Thank you to Mark and his team and the lovely lady behind the bar, was Sophie I think. You must visit and I would definitely say book or you will miss out
Decent steak menu recommended. The 24 ounce tomahawk steak was cooked to perfection.
