From my consultation and the procedure with Mr Ali all the way to aftercare I have been treated amazing! Every time I attended for an appointment It went smoothly, everyone was friendly and helpful. Also, even after some difficultly’s post-operation I got help straight away. Thank you to Fiona especially and the staff at Rowley hall, it’s been a pleasure and would recommend to anyone! :)

I had a operation at Rowley Hall just over a week ago 5th feb. I was a NHS patient having a laparoscopy with endo excision. Surgery itself was fine no issues with my consultant surgeon . majority of the staff I came across were fine, the odd member of staff looked like they didn't want to be there. After my surgery and ate and drank fine, but I was having trouble passing urine. I was told this was fine and not to stress about it. twice I told the staff on the day ward I wasn't going to the toilet properly yet I was still discharged at 1:30pm. fast forward to 5pm I still couldn't wee properly the tiniest amount, I was back and to the toilet like a yoyo. I sought advise from 111. their nurse advised I go upto my local a&e. To cut the story short I ended being admitted to my local surgical assessment unit for 24hours, and was catheterised. nearly 900ml was drained straight away. I was discharged the next day but I had to keep the catheter in for 7 days. the pain and discomfort I have suffered having to have a catheter in is something I won't forget for along time. What annoys me the most is this could have been easily avoided if the staff at Rowley Hall listened to me in the first place! In future there is no way I'd ever accept another operational at Rowley Hall, I will wait for my local hospital Royal stoke. The staff there went above and beyond to make sure I was looked after and nothing was too much trouble. Rowley Hall i just felt like they couldn't get me out quick enough guess thats what happened when your a NHS patient and not private. money talks I suppose not duty of care.

Had to wait 10 weeks to see a doctor. My prescription I was told would be ready in a week. Phoned my surgery they never received it. Absolutely disgusting. I now have to go over the same procedure with my GP. Rowley park hospital thanks for nothing .
