I’ve never heard good things about this place as from what I know the workplace is horrific. Staff are bullied by other members of staff, office staff that know nothing about how hard the job is bully the workers that do actual work. The staff are treated horribly by family members of the residents and when reported they just get shrugged off. Night Staff blame day staff for things that don’t concern them. Stay far away from this place as they’ll try to bring you down with them, they don’t care for human rights. If you start at 8am and finish at 8pm, the only times you can drink are on breaks, therefore workers go 3-4 hours working non-stop without a drink, leaving them dehydrated and hot whilst heaters and radiators are blasting all day. I would give this place no stars but 1 is the lowest I can give.

Horrendous. Death row! This was my experience when my nan almost died through neglect in this home around 15 years ago. I wouldn’t put a dog in there. The matron and the staff on the part my Nan were pure evil. The matron Sandra, was a rotten apple that rotted the rest. My Nan dropped from 9stone to 6 stone in months. She almost died from malnutrition and severe dehydration. It still haunts me to this day. It shud be shut down and the witches burnt at the stake if they’re still there. Steer clear.
I was very lucky to work for this home. One of the best jobs I ever had. Full of amazing caring people who all work so hard to deliver a very high standard of care. I know from my experience the home has probably the best staff taking care of the residents. The home has been given some bad press in the past but I can assure you the place really deserves recognission for the vast improvements it has made. I left for personal reasons. I would highly recommend to anyone
