St Werburgh's Church Birkenhead

Having lost my Mum 7 days before Christmas, and having to arrange her funeral etc, we met Father Ray, via recommendation from Susan C Porter. He was so warm and welcoming, he put us at ease and delivered such a beautiful service that I know my Mum would have loved. He is kind, funny and a genuinely nice man and can't thank him enough for his service and support.

My daughters Requiem Mass was celebrated in January in this Chapel by Father Ray. We do not live in Birkenhead we are from Ireland. Fr Ray made one of the saddest days of our lives into one with beautiful memories. His compassion and welcome to us was overwhelming and we appreciated everything he did. The Mass was live streamed and was watched by our relatives and friends throughout the globe and the love and sincerity of the Mass had a massive impact on everyone. Father Ray you are a wonderful human being and and St Werburghs Church is very fortunate to have you as their PP. We Sineads parents, her brother Peter and his wife and family and Sinead husband Derek and son Lewis want to thank you publically for the unforgettable Requiem Mass you celebrated for Sinead Jean and Pat MacCafferty
