Decent fish n chips in a sunny beer garden. Staff were delightful. A tad on the pricey side and left me feeling very heavy but that’s what you get when the fish is bigger than your head!

More fine dining menu than pub grub which isn't really mine or my husbands taste.We did find two things on the menu we liked and they were really tasty with massive portions.The setting is very old worldly with a cosy atmosphere. Staff were very friendly and efficient. Prices are a lot dearer than we usually pay in country pubs but we did eat everything on our plates.Well worth a visit if your looking for a different menu from your typical pub grub!!

Been going here since the 80s, utterly fab local, friendly staff, great traditional ambiance & delicious food, well above usual pub fare.
